An affiliate is an official third party business or individual who refers potential customers to another business. By signing up to be a part of NYFifth’s affiliate program, you will be able to get paid for every sale that your website refers to us! We provide banners and links that you can add to your website. When a reader or future customer clicks on one of the banners/link and purchases an item from our website, a percentage of the sale goes directly to you!
HOW DOES IT WORK

>>Do I need to pay to become a NYFifth Affiliate?
Nope! Signing up to become one of NYFifth’s affiliates is completely free! There are no quotas that you need to fill to stay as a NYFifth affiliate. However, if you have no logged into your account in 6 months and there are no sales from your website, ShareASale can terminate your account. Please see ShareASale's terms and conditions for more details.
>>How will I be paid for the sales I generate? Does NYFifth.com pay me directly?
NYFifth does not pay our affiliates directly. Instead, affiliates will receive their payments from ShareASale through NYFifth’s account. This allows from all monetary transactions to be done securely through a third party source. For more information, check out ShareASale's Affiliate Payment FAQs.
>>What percentage can I expect to get for each sale?
Percentages vary depending on the type of website you will be hosting NYFifth’s link from. At the moment, a content based website (blogs, news, community, etc.) will receive about 8-10% commission on the final sale. Coupon and Deal Sites (eg. RetailMeNot and SlickDeals), however, may only receive 1-5% of commission.
>>How long after a person clicks on a banner or link will I am eligible to receive credit for the sale?
Sometimes potential customers don’t always make a purchase right away. Because of this, NYFifth stays in line with the general standard of 60 days from the time of the initial click. If that person makes a purchase after the 60 days without clicking on the banner or link again, unfortunately you will not be able to get credit for that sale. However, most people who purchase from NYFifth.com complete their order within 60 days.
>>What happens is a product is returned from an affiliate sale I generated?
If a customer that was referred from your website returns or cancels an order for refund, NYFifth at its discretion can debit your account for any commission earned on that transaction
